I was looking for a new lawyer to help me with a relocation case and modification of some terms in my parenting plan. With my divorce I had a different lawyer who got the job done but I was looking for someone new this time who was more aligned with my goals. I spoke to ALOT of lawyers. I know how important it is to find the right one. It can change your life. I had a consultation with Scott and held off on any action for a few months. Then, I consulted with him again. He was not annoyed and didn’t act like I was wasting his time. He actually listened and cared and gave genuine advice. That’s how I knew I would hire this law firm. Even though I had talked to Scott twice at this point, my case was handed to Dara. That was an absolute blessing. Dara is kind and extremely knowledgeable. She did so much research for my case, gave examples that were accepted into evidence (which is hard to do with the rules of evidence!), and handled my case with a lot of empathy to my situation. This law firm doesn’t care about lawyer fees like the others do. This law firm cares about PEOPLE. Dara is an incredible lawyer and human. Because of her I WON! The case was complicated with an international element but I was not worried. I trusted Dara with my life and my future and I’m glad I did. I still have some small things to iron out now, but we won the big case and I couldn’t be more grateful to Dara and Scott. 5 stars is simply not enough to rate this law firm, 10/10, 100/100 I can go on and on. I am truly grateful to Scott and Serena, my initial meeting was with Scott, by the end of the meeting I knew that I wanted Scott to represent me, he is the epitome of compassion and understanding, very professional and so incredibly kind. Then I was blessed to have Serena handle my case, Serena is incredible, I'd like to think our rapport was unique but that's just who she is, an exceptional lawyer, a subtle firecracker and someone who looks out for your best interest. During such a stressful time, I didn't feel as stressed as I should have been because Serena was there for me every step of the way and that's what you want in your lawyers, to be able to sit back and let them handle this battle for you. I can't thank Serena and Scott enough, we shared jokes along the way and I really miss them now that my case has concluded. The way Scott and Serena operate in a court room, I was impressed beyond words, they sit with you before hand and lay all the cards on the table, letting you know every single possible outcome before hand so you aren't surprised and shocked by whatever the outcome is. We walked out of that courtroom victorious and the feeling of relief mixed with sadness is what I felt when I got that final email from them saying that my case had been concluded. It was really sad to say goodbye to such wonderful people. I would also like to thank Gabriel and the rest of the team for their diligent and hard work. I can't thank Scott enough for his outstanding support during my divorce. His kindness and patience truly felt like a godsend, while my ex's attorney seemed more interested in nickel-and-diming us. Kalish & Jaggars were my saving grace! In 2020, I began a court battle with my ex-husband to modify the parenting plans and update our financial affidavits. I was met with a lot of push back and outlandish claims that cause the whole process to be delayed. My ex’s attorney used depositions, mediations…anything he could to procrastinate the inevitable of us coming before a job. A year passed and no progress was made. I felt that the attorney I had at the time was not being aggressive enough but I couldn’t afford to hire someone else. However, what happened next let me know that I know that I was destined to partner with Kalish and Jaggars, PLLC. My attorney at the time had to step down for medical reasons and I had to find new representation. A friend of mine referred me to Kalish and Jaggars, where I worked closely with Dara Jaggars. Let me say this, since 2020, when I first filed for the modifications, to the moment my attorney at the time had to step down, I was a wreck! I was stressed out, I had lost hope, and I was ready to give up. When Dara, Daniel, and Scott took on my case, all of my hope was restored! They treated me like I was family; holding my hand every step of the way. They fought for me and won! They made me feel like they truly cared for my case.
