I had an amazing experience working with this firm for my custody case, specifically Serena Pomeranz. I had absolutely no experience with the legal system or even knew where to start, especially with all the back-and-forth headaches from the mother and the court. They stepped in and guided me through every step, making the process as easy as possible. They were always responsive, patient, and willing to explain anything I didn’t understand. I’m not person who usually writes reviews online, but in this case I would like to recommend  Kalish and Serena to everyone who needs help with divorce. I had very complicated case and waste time and money on my first lawyer, and then I decided to call Scott Kalish and he helped me out with everything. Serena was amazing during my process.. 5 stars is simply not enough to rate this law firm, 10/10, 100/100 I can go on and on. I am truly grateful to Scott and Serena, my initial meeting was with Scott, by the end of the meeting I knew that I wanted Scott to represent me, he is the epitome of compassion and understanding, very professional and so incredibly kind. Then I was blessed to have Serena handle my case, Serena is incredible, I'd like to think our rapport was unique but that's just who she is, an exceptional lawyer, a subtle firecracker and someone who looks out for your best interest. During such a stressful time, I didn't feel as stressed as I should have been because Serena was there for me every step of the way and that's what you want in your lawyers, to be able to sit back and let them handle this battle for you. I can't thank Serena and Scott enough, we shared jokes along the way and I really miss them now that my case has concluded. The way Scott and Serena operate in a court room, I was impressed beyond words, they sit with you before hand and lay all the cards on the table, letting you know every single possible outcome before hand so you aren't surprised and shocked by whatever the outcome is. We walked out of that courtroom victorious and the feeling of relief mixed with sadness is what I felt when I got that final email from them saying that my case had been concluded. It was really sad to say goodbye to such wonderful people. I would also like to thank Gabriel and the rest of the team for their diligent and hard work. Empathy & Caring at its finest.  STOP looking any further.  Scott & Serena are two of the most exceptional lawyers I’ve had the pleasure to meet.  At the end of my divorce, I felt like I owed them so much for their patience and incredible advice.  It’s not that often that you find lawyers that truly connect with your situation, however every person in this practice treated me with respect and was over the top helpful.  I didn’t have an easy divorce, yes they are all different, but for them to just hear what I went through and have empathy and compassion over money was something you don’t see often today.  They saved me in so many ways, I will be forever grateful to everyone, and will recommend this practice to everyone!! For the record, prior to meeting Scott and his group, I had been through four separations prior to this, so I had some experience with dealing with lawyers. Kalish & Jaggars were my saving grace! In 2020, I began a court battle with my ex-husband to modify the parenting plans and update our financial affidavits. I was met with a lot of push back and outlandish claims that cause the whole process to be delayed. My ex’s attorney used depositions, mediations…anything he could to procrastinate the inevitable of us coming before a job. A year passed and no progress was made. I felt that the attorney I had at the time was not being aggressive enough but I couldn’t afford to hire someone else. However, what happened next let me know that I know that I was destined to partner with Kalish and Jaggars, PLLC. My attorney at the time had to step down for medical reasons and I had to find new representation. A friend of mine referred me to Kalish and Jaggars, where I worked closely with Dara Jaggars. Let me say this, since 2020, when I first filed for the modifications, to the moment my attorney at the time had to step down, I was a wreck! I was stressed out, I had lost hope, and I was ready to give up. When Dara, Daniel, and Scott took on my case, all of my hope was restored! They treated me like I was family; holding my hand every step of the way. They fought for me and won! They made me feel like they truly cared for my case. Dara, especially, was there for me in moments when my head was spinning! She listened to me vent, answered my MANY questions, and supported me throughout the entire process. All of emails and text were answered right away, and if I ever needed to speak to her, she’d take my call as soon as she could. Today, I stand in victory. All of the modifications I requested were agreed upon, and I can go back to enjoying my life with my kids. I am forever grateful for the Kalish and Jaggars law firm. The idea of divorce after being with my (ex)spouse for so many years was a bit frightening and I was confused as to which direction I needed to go, but after speaking with Scott and Dara, the attorneys at Kalish & Jaguars, PLLC, I felt extremely comfortable and retained them as my council right away. They made the process go as smooth as any divorce can go.
